Hi, I’m Julia! I’m from Wilmington, NC and graduated from UNCW in 2024 with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science, along with minors in neuroscience, biology, and psychology. I earned University Honors for my senior thesis, "NLY01 Enhances Functional Recovery Post-Stroke in the Absence of Gross Changes in Astrocytic Coverage," and was honored with the Outstanding Exercise Science Departmental Award. When I’m not surfing, traveling abroad, or powerlifting, I spend my time training in Muay Thai or hanging out with my cat, Jasper. I have a deep curiosity about the world, and I love reflecting on science and all its fascinating complexities.
