Hi, I'm Aasim! I'm from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and graduated from the College of Charleston in 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. During my sophomore year, I joined a research lab at the College, where I developed a passion for protein biochemistry. I plan to apply to medical school and am excited to spend my gap year in the Sprague Lab contributing to its ongoing research projects. Outside the lab, you'll usually find me thrifting, reading, playing video games, or relaxing at home with my cat.
