Hi, I'm Evelyn Popescu. I'm from Northern Virginia, and I graduated from the University of Virginia in 2026 with a B.S. in Biochemistry. Throughout undergrad, I gained lab experience in both microbiology and pharmacology at UVA and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), discovering an interest in drug discovery research that I am pursuing through my graduate studies at MUSC. Outside of the lab, I enjoy baking, yoga, pilates, and hiking. I've also done ballet for 16 years!
